✈️ Visa Services

All applicants must include the following with their application:

• Completed visa application form + copies of the passport pages showing name, photo, issuer, date of issue and expiry — passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of application
• 1 clear, recent colour passport photo
• Coloured copy of the German residence permit (Aufenthaltserlaubnis) with its validity date
• 1 pre-addressed, sufficiently stamped registered-mail return envelope (Einschreiben) for return of documents
• Payment receipt confirming the applicable consular fee after the Embassy has confirmed the current fee for your visa file; payment is by Instant Bank Transfer only (see Fees below)

The Embassy announced revised consular fees effective 1 March 2026. Because the official material currently available on this website does not show the full visa breakdown, please confirm the current visa fee for your nationality and number of entries directly with the Embassy before making a bank transfer.

Payment by Instant Bank Transfer only. After the Embassy confirms the applicable fee for your visa file, include the applicant's full name in the reference (Verwendungszweck) and enclose the payment receipt. Cash payments and on-site POS payments are not accepted.

In addition to Set A documents:

• Full travel details for Lebanon: hotel name and address — or, if visiting family / friends, the host's full name and phone number
• Bank statement for the last 3 months showing sufficient funds to cover the stay (or proof that the host will cover expenses)
• Proof of applicant's status in Germany (employee, student, retired, business owner, etc.)

In addition to Set A documents:

• Invitation letter from the Lebanese business partner (with name, address, phone and required stay duration)
• Copy of the Lebanese partner's commercial registration
• Proof of business relationship with the inviting company
• Employer's guarantee to cover travel expenses

In addition to Set A documents:

• Acceptance letter or invitation from a Lebanese university, school or institute

In addition to Set A documents:

• Letter from the organising body with a copy of the course programme and its duration

In addition to Set A documents:

• Copy of the child's birth certificate
• Copy of the parents' marriage certificate
• Copy of both parents' passports
• Written consent from both parents for the minor to travel to Lebanon and return to Germany — signed before a German Notar or in person at the Embassy
• If parents are separated: copy of the custody judgment

In addition to Set A documents, provide proof of onward travel through Lebanon.

Certain nationalities must obtain prior approval from the Directorate General of General Security (Sûreté Générale) in Beirut before a visa can be issued. For these nationalities, the complete application must be submitted to the Embassy in Berlin at least 4 months before the intended travel date, so the Embassy can forward it to Beirut for approval.
