This website is technically provided through Netlify. When you access the site, technically required connection data such as your IP address, date and time of access, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system information may be processed in order to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website.

If you contact us by email, we process the information you send us, in particular your email address and the content of your message, solely in order to handle your request and forward it to the competent department of the Embassy.

Your information is processed only to the extent necessary to answer your message or route it internally to the appropriate office.

This website currently does not provide a contact form, user account area or newsletter sign-up. Consular matters are handled through the published contact channels.

Google Maps is embedded on the contact page in order to show directions to the Embassy. In addition, Google Fonts are loaded site-wide through fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. When these services are loaded, Google may process personal data, in particular your IP address and technical usage data.

A weather display is loaded in the footer on all pages through Open-Meteo. This creates a direct request to Open-Meteo and may transmit technical connection data.

The website chatbot is rule-based and does not use any external AI or third-party LLM provider. Chatbot replies are generated from locally maintained website content, and user prompts are not transmitted to external AI providers or an external chat service.

The website search uses Pagefind and operates within this website. Search queries are processed in the browser; no external third-party search provider is used.

Links to social media platforms, Google Maps, DHL and other external information websites are included as normal external links. Data is generally transferred to those providers only when you actively open such a link.

When external providers are used, processing of personal data outside the European Union cannot be ruled out.

According to the current state of this website, the website itself does not set cookies for marketing or analytics purposes and does not use external tracking or statistics services.

However, embedded third-party content or external providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies when such content is loaded or such a provider is opened.

Personal data is stored only for as long as required to process your request, provide the website technically, or comply with legal and administrative obligations.
